FAQ'S

What's the range?

The range depends on the vehicle. A Land Rover is a square box pushing through air on four permanently driven wheels. It is not aerodynamic. It uses energy accordingly. A Jaguar E-Type is two-wheel drive, low, and shaped like something that belongs in a wind tunnel. The difference is significant. Both use the same Electrogenic battery and motor system. The results tell you everything about the vehicles themselves.

•  Land Rover -- 120–150 miles per charge. These vehicles are built for local, joyful use.

•  Jaguar E-Type -- Approximately +200 miles per charge. A genuine daily driver.

•  Porsche 911 -- Approximately 180-200 miles per charge.

•  DeLorean DMC 12 -- Approximately 150 miles per charge.

•  Classic Mini -- Approximately 80 miles per charge.

How long does a conversion take?

Typically, four to six months from the point of commitment, depending on our current schedule and the complexity of the vehicle. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the outset — not one we can't keep.

Does the conversion affect the value of my vehicle?

A well-executed, professionally insured EV conversion by a credible operator generally holds or enhances value.

And the entire process is completely reversible -- clients are free to keep the original engine. We're happy to discuss this in more detail during your first conversation.

What about servicing after conversion?

This is the part people struggle to believe until they experience it. Essentially, there is nothing to service. The Electrogenic system has no oil, no filters, no fuel system, and one primary moving part. We ask clients to keep an eye on the original brakes — which, thanks to regenerative braking, they'll rarely use. That's it.

Can anyone drive it?

That's one of the most common reasons people come to us. Yes. If you can drive a modern automatic, you can drive one of our converted classics. Several of our clients' spouses and children drive them daily.

Do you source vehicles as well as convert them?

Sometimes. If you've seen a converted classic and want one but don't currently own a suitable vehicle, get in touch. We can discuss what's involved in sourcing the right car as a starting point for a conversion project.

What if there are any issues after delivery?

You have direct access to us, and through us, to Electrogenic's technical team. We've resolved issues on-site and remotely for clients three thousand miles away. We stay involved.
